The village of Irma is a friendly village of over 450 people, located 15 minutes west of Wainwright, 90 minutes east of Edmonton. Irma is supported by a strong economy with agriculture, oilfield activity and the Wainwright Military Base.
In the village you will find banking, dining, grocery and hardware stores, hotel/motel accommodations, Co-op Card lock (fuel), automotive services, small engine repair shop, post office, convenience store, gift shops, crafts and sewing store along with various other businesses.
