From it's humble beginnings as the Swift Creek Roadhouse in the early 1900s the Valemount Hotel has grown into a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Rebuilt in 1951 it has become a familiar sight for those travelling by rail through our "Valley in the Mountains." Valemount is surrounded by three mountain ranges, the Rockies to the northeast, the Cariboos to the west and the Monashees to the south providing spectacular scenery as well as great outdoor activities for all seasons.
