It is our desire at Camp Tulahead to show love and acceptance, demonstrate patience and offer hope to every camper who steps into this adventure. As an interdenominational, evangelical camp our mission statement is "to assist B.C.'s evangelical churches in reaching today's youth with tomorrow's hope.Christian camping reaches today's youth with the claims of Christ in a way that has impact. The very nature of the camp environment challenges each one's basic assumptions about life, purpose, relationships, success and happiness. Christian camping also follows the model of Christ's earthly ministry - a daily living experience with His disciples in which He taught them lessons through pictures and illustrations in the great outdoors.
Since 1981, thousands of people, young and old, have begun living the Christian life as a result of their experiences at Tulahead. The mission statement of this ministry is "to assist BC's evangelical churches in reaching today's youth with tomorrow's hope." We are excited about the vision that God has entrusted to us and look forward to working with all those who feel led to be a part of this ministry.
Tulahead is owned and operated by the Camp Tulahead Society, an inter-denominational, evangelical, non-profit organization. We are fully accredited members of the B.C. Camping Association and the B.C. Fellowship of Christian Camps.
