Edmonton Transit provides customer focused, safe, reliable and affordable public transportation services that link people, jobs and communities. The system covers more than 150 regular routes, plus "school specials", a Light Rail Transit (LRT) system, and DATS (Disabled Adult Transit Service). Edmonton Transit has 13 LRT Stations, 7 of which are paired with Transit Centres. Our LRT stations are fully accessible, with automatic station door openers, curb ramps, elevators, and escalators. They include such amenities as information boards with direct call links to ETS Information, pay phones, Blue Emergency Help Phones, and CCTV cameras for security. Downtown stations are connected via pedways to many major downtown buildings and attractions.
