Edmonton Transit provides customer focused, safe, reliable and affordable public transportation services that link people, jobs and communities. Edmonton Transit has 15 LRT stations, 7 of which are paired with Transit Centres. All LRT stations are fully accessible, with automatic station door openers, and curb ramps, as well as elevators and escalators, train arrival announcements, reduced height pay phones and TTY phones. Stations may also include concessions offering light refreshments, and Kiss ‘n Ride passenger pick-up and drop-off areas, free commuter parking lots, and designated parking for disabled customers. Station platforms also include platform edge warning strips, Priority Waiting areas for persons with mobility challenges, direct call links to ETS Information, Blue Emergency Help Phones, monitored security cameras, and heated wait areas.
