Edmonton Transit provides customer focused, safe, reliable and affordable public transportation services that link people, jobs and communities. The system covers more than 150 regular routes, plus "school specials", a Light Rail Transit (LRT) system, and DATS (Disabled Adult Transit Service). Edmonton Transit has 20 transit centres, 7 of which are paired with LRT Stations. Located throughout the city to provide destination and transfer locations for transit customers, our transit centres and LRT stations are fully accessible, with automatic station door openers, curb ramps, elevators, and escalators. Transit Centres have information boards with route and schedule details for routes serving the transit centre, and may offer other amenities including pay phones, direct call links to ETS Information, Blue Emergency Help Phones, and heated shelters or wait areas.
