The property is ideal for A Rocha Canada's vision for a field study centre. Modelled after other A Rocha centres, Heritage Acres will be the hub of A Rocha's activities in Canada. Staff and volunteers will use the centre as a base to conduct environmental education and conservations studies while modeling sustainable living, all with a community emphasis. Heritage Acres offers the necessary infrastructure for housing, lab and classroom space. The large garden area is also ideal for an organic demonstration garden.
