Edmonton Transit Service (ETS)
Low Floor Buses

Edmonton Transit provides customer focused, safe, reliable and affordable public transportation services that link people, jobs and communities. Edmonton Transit's fleet encompasses almost 1,000 buses, all of which are fully accessible. Most service is provided with full-sized low floor buses, which have a ramp and kneeling (lowering) capability at the front entrance. There are no stairs at the front or back entrances of the buses. Articulated (“bendy”) low floor buses are also provided on busier cross-town routes, and have the same features as the regular sized buses. Community buses are smaller vehicles, and are fully accessible as well, with low floors and accessible ramps. All buses have two seating positions for passengers using mobility devices such as wheelchairs or scooters.
